My name is Chris Hamilton and I am from Atlanta, GA.
By this point you have probably started to drift mentally or even closed the page. That’s OK with me, now I can subliminally program the people that remain.
Whenever I encounter an “About” page, I always wonder what I’m supposed to think about this person. Who are they? What do they do?
When I’m writing an About page, I wonder what I should say to you, the reader. Should I try to impress you? Am I supposed to establish some kind of credibility?
One thing is for sure, I have spent at least 200 words not telling you much about who I am or why I’m creating this blog.
So let’s dispense with that.
I’m a computer scientist who has been building things on the web since 1999. I’ve built things that went viral and I’ve built many many things that nobody gave a shit about.
So I feel I’m uniquely qualified to teach people how to make things happen and adjust to how people react. I would say if there is any one nugget of wisdom that I can impart to you, it’s this:
Let people change your idea. Fall out of love with your idea immediately. Let it change. Let it change completely into something else if you have to.
So that’s it. That’s who I am and what I’m trying to accomplish here. Can I go now?
